Navigation to Magdalena Island (Magellanic Penguins).
Itinerary:
To sail to Magdalena Island, passengers must arrive at the “Muelle Prat,” located at Av. Costanera del Estrecho de Magallanes #1398, in the city of Punta Arenas. From this place we begin the catamaran cruise, heading 35 km northeast of Punta Arenas towards Magdalena Island "Natural Monument of Penguins" (1 hour and a half sailing).
Upon arriving at the island, we disembark from the catamaran to take a walk around the island, following a circuit, from where we can observe the Magellanic penguin in its natural habitat, one of the largest colonies in South America.
After the visit to the island, we board the catamaran again to begin the cruise back to the Prat pier in Punta Arenas and end the excursion.
